Basadi Occupational Health

The focus of Basadi Occupational Health is to provide a one-stop service to its clients, mainly independent contractors. Our product is defined by mainly two Acts: The Mine Health and Safety Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

A Summary of Services

Employees are examined according to the risks as determined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, the services are the following:

• Medical Examinations
• Health risk assessments of the workplace
• Medical surveillance and biological monitoring where indicated
• Blood and urine specimens are collected on the premises and sent to the laboratory
• Workplace health policies and programs
• Occupational Health and Safety Training
• Inoculations will be done by arrangement prior to examination date
• Assistance in the reporting of noise induced hearing loss to the Compensation Commissioner
